Oh... haha... have not been updating this blog lately wor... almost a mth le ba... Erm.. nothing much to update also...

Busy watching shows... 福氣又安康，紫玫瑰，溏心风暴之家好月圆，下一站, 幸福 & currently watching 痞子英雄.... Well, 小猪 lost his 金鐘影帝 to 趙又廷... haiz... but nvm lor.. got nominated is gd enough le... jiayou... waiting to watch his coming new show on 1st November & also looking forward to his new album... hope faster release wor..

Last few wks, been out for buffet session... hehe... so gain alot of weight now... nonya style buffet at opp bugis junction on 3rd Oct.. tea break buffet... cheap & nice... then we walked to orchard.. went DFS... after tat meetup with weiqiang after his class... then we all hang ard at my place's park there for a drink... haha... i really must said.. "da jie old liao, cannot drink le..." not even a cup, i already cannot take it le... so lousy, rite?? haha... so i tink ah ting ar... next time u all wan to drink, can leave mi out le...

Then last sat, we went to have Mushroom Pot buffet at OG Orchard there... meet PY only at first, then after tat Samuel & Weihua joined us... the food also not so bad.... went walk ard after tat... supposed wanted to watch movie, but timeslot too late le.. so we headed to TCC for a drink & talk talk...

This wk... didn't go out... no mood lor... so sian... i want holidays lei.. but still have to wait... Work super busy, but bo mood to do... next thurs & fri on course... might have to go back for OT coming sunday to clear some important stuff... And tink there goes my coming wkends... Wkends always so fast gone de... haiz..

And tink time for mi to go do hair treatment & trim my hair liao... getting long & feeling uneasy... if coming sunday dun have to do OT, then maybe will go... see how ba..

Haha... Ok ok la... Mdm Ng aka Mrs Yang.. Paiseh la, earlier quite lazy to update.. Now, I will do some updates on my 5th Taiwan Trip, ok? Lolx... The trip 10 days lei, so give mi some time to slowly update..

Before i start off typing, just would like to said, this trip is not as fun or as enjoyable as we expected. Besides cos we cancelled our Kaoshiong trip due to Morakot Typhoon, there are some other reasons to it which causes us not too enjoy the trip.. Don't want to explain further, we know it ourselves can le.. Hehe...

5th Taiwan Trip -- 31/07/09(Fri) to 09/08/09(Sun)

Day 1 (31/07/09)

ah ting's dad drove both of us to T3 airport in the morning to meet up with the rest. Check-in our luggage & we headed to have our breakfast at Mac. After tat, went into departure area & start to shop, but didn't buy anything la.. haha... Boarded SQ878, enjoyed ourselves with the in-flight entertainment & food. After 4 hours+ flight journey, touched down at Taiwan Taoyuan Intl T2 airport. After stepped out of the immigration area, ah ting went to change some TWD at the money changer. Then we headed to collect our luggages.

Guess wat we saw?? The temp is 40 degree outside the airport lor.. Yes, 40 degree! It is damm hot.. We quickly went to the bus booth to buy Guoguang bus tix to Taipei Main Station cos we are staying back the same hotel which we stayed during our Dec Countdown trip, Miyi Hotel. After we bought the bus tix, then went out to q & wait for the bus, wah, so so hot lor.. we sweating liao while waiting for the bus, it is so diff from Dec trip.. haha... Now i must said i rather cold temp than hot temp... hehe... But really didn't expect it is so hot lor, cos Aug 07 went with jo, the weather wasn't this hot de lor... haiz...

Bus journey to Taipei Main Station was abt 45 mins to an hour cos traffic on the road was heavy.. Reached Taipei Main Station ard almost 7pm+, then we find our way to the hotel.. Check-in to our rooms, do some unpacking, rest & after tat we headed down to Ximending for dinner plus PY wan to go to STAY REAL to get some stuff. Hehe.. Since it's late and nothing much to shop, we decided to pack food which we have been craving for back to hotel to eat.. Our ah zhong's mian xian, guo tie, bubble tea etc... Yummy... (I missed it now)

Day 2 (01/08/09)

Woke up early, get ready & went down to the cafe beside our hotel to have our free breakfast. We headed down to Ximending again.. Tink we are too early.. alot of shops not open yet.. Went STAGE, 86 小舖 etc all not open yet.. So decided to have early lunch at Tamayago 蛋蛋屋.. yeah, our another crave... hehe.. After our lunch, then we went walked ard at Ximending... Then after tat back to hotel to rest rest..

Then we went to J1 to have our dinner... haha... Day 2 is eating day.. we eat & eat.. lolx.. Supposed we wanted to try their new fruit tarts from Mr Qute (shop beside J1 also Mr Jay's shop), but we ate until too full, so we decided to pack back to hotel to try it, each of us choose 1 tart.. hehe.. The tarts looks really nice & taste nice too.. Also missed this now.... :( After settled with our bill, then we slowly walked to Taipei 101, it's just a short distance walk from J1.. Night view of Taipei 101 is really nice lor..

Taipei 101 nothing much... all branded stuff... So we headed to New York New York, 新光三越 then to 誠品 bookstore.. Helped kim & irene bought a couple of magazines, carried too many things le, so we decided to take cab back to hotel.. Anyway, their cab charges not really ex de, so the price is ok, since 4 of us sharing the cab..

Back to hotel, tried out the fruit tarts from Mr Qute.. The fruits on top of the tart is super fresh lor.. Yummy!! :)

Day 3 (02/08/09)

Woke up early, didn't have breakfast cos we planned to go straight to 東區的鼎泰豐 to settle our breakfast & lunch together... 2nd time tat i went to this branch, 1st time went during my 1st TW trip with my cousin to meet kim & roy there... This time so easy to find the place, not like tat time, mi & my cousin sweat until dunnoe like wat then finally found the place.. As usual, we ordered a few items to share, eat until from not many pple till the restaurant quite crowded... After tat we start our 東區 shopping, went 東區 underground mall (which i find it ok only, nothing much fancy mi, dunnoe is it cos weather too hot until we all no mood to shop or wat).. Then we went to find STAGE & STAY REAL... Find these two place find until very 辛苦, more or less due to the super hot weather & always given the wrong direction by the pple there(but still there's a kind uncle who tried to help us figure our way, thank you!)

We cannot tahan the weather, decided to head back to hotel, after rest, then go to AT salon to do our hair... hehe... Anyway, AT is juz opposite our hotel.. so 方便... do & sit till our back pain... after done was like almost 10pm (was there like ard 4 plus to 5pm)... Since so late liao also dunnoe where to go settle our dinner, so we went to Yoshinoya to get some food for dinner...

Day 4 (03/08/09)

Yes, this is wat we have for our breakfast cum lunch in Day 4... Went to this sushi shop in Taipei Underground Mall... We ate 45 plates.. Each plate is only NT$30= S$1.35... no diff color plates de... all is NT$30.. cheap, rite?? Haha...

After we finished eating, we went walk ard in Taipei Underground Mall.. Weather is still super hot... argh... Went back to hotel rest, then decided to go Shilin Night Market, but before tat we went Ximending's STAY REAL cos PY need to go collect some stuff she preordered... Took MRT to Jiantan station for Shilin Night Market... Wah, it was raining super heavily lor.. walked also difficult.. walked till buay tahan.. decided we shall go da bao food & head back to hotel by cab... We bought super lots of food as usual to share, eat till cannot finish, eat till super super full...

Day 5 (04/08/09)

Woke up abit later cos we planned to hang ard at nearby our hotel as we intend to go stock up all the things we wan to buy & bring back to S'pore.. cup noodles, tibits, treatment etc... We went bookstore street, but before tat we went to have our lunch @ KFC... haha..

Then in the evening, we went to 五分埔... but before tat we went 胡须张 to eat 鲁肉饭.. thought we will be able to buy many many cheap clothes, but end up only bought a few top.. Then since it is still early, decided to head to Shilin Night Market again cos we didn't get to shop the other day due to raining... Went Shilin, but again, didn't find anything tat fancy us & lot of pple, so decided to head back to hotel... super early lor.. Went Taipei Underground Mall there & settle our dinner with guo tie...

Day 6 (05/08/09)

We planned to go 九份, hence we woke up quite early, get ready & went for our free breakfast... Then took MRT to Zhongxiao Fuxing to take bus to 九份... Journey was abt 45 mins..

After went 九份, we head back to hotel to put our stuff down... then we went nearby Daiso.. After tat we head to 淡水.. Walk walk, buy things eat again... Back to hotel still early, so we decided to go nearby Family Mart to buy food for our dinner..
Look at the food we bought from Family Mart... it is so yummy lor.. Like tat we settled with our dinner le.. haha.. Hope S'pore 7-eleven also got like tat lor...

After all the eating, we started to pack our stuff into the UPS box which we intend to send back to S'pore... packed till 5am..

Day 7 (06/08/09)

Woke up abit later, went Ximending again... Early morning kept raining non stop le... Eat breakfast cum lunch @ Mos Burger... then we walked ard finding medicure & pedicure shop.. found one le, but due to some reason we never do...

Decided to head back to hotel cos nothing much to shop le... on our way back to hotel, suddenly wind & rain super strong.. we got a shocked.. Umbrella also cannot hold on, almost fly off, back to hotel, we are all very wet...

Switched on the TV & watched news... News reported tat Morakot Typhoon is approaching by 08/08/09. After some thinking, we decided to call off our Kaoshiong trip to be safe. Called up Kaoshiong hotel to ask to cancel our rooms, however, they said unless the govt announced no work no school for both days tat we reserved the rooms, otherwise they will not return us our $$... But we still go ahead to cancel, cos this is to play safe as we have never experience typhoon before, we do not know how bad it will be. Hence after we cancelled the Kaoshiong rooms, mi & PY went down to reception counter to check whether there's room for next 2 nights, luckily they still have, but we will need to move to another room... We are ok with it cos at least we have place to stay...

After we settled with our rooms.. We rest awhile & mi with PY decided to walk over(before the rain get heavier) to the High Speed Railway Station to refund our HSR tixs we bought for Kaoshiong. Took us quite long as the q was quite long... We head back to hotel...

Jolyn went buy some food from downstair, then we ate in the room.. Nothing much we can do, we kept watching news..

After tat we went out to Familymart again to supper... haha.. we are addicted to the food in Familymart... lolx.. In the room, we eat, talk, watched shows & news...

Day 8 (07/08/09)

Jolyn woke up first, she bath liao then went down to see how's the weather cos our rooms no windows... She came back & said she got the keys to the rooms we moving in for next two days le.. So, we started to pack our stuff & move to the rooms.. After everything done, we decided to have Mac.. Still raining heavily outside, we can't go out & all the shops outside are closed cos the govt announced no work no school due to the Morakot Typhoon... So our dinner & supper again, we bought it from Familymart... haha...

Day 9 (08/08/09)

We become quite moody during last 2 days.. cos been watching the news on Morakot Typhoon.. haiz.. feel tat we are in Taiwan but life in Taipei still as per normal, whereas those staying in villages in the Southern Taiwan are suffering...

Weather in Day 9 is better, still abit of raining.. So, we planned only to go Taipei Main Station & nearby to shop shop & do some last min shopping... We had our lunch at the Sushi shop again.. This time we didn't eat much..

After the shopping, we headed back to hotel & rest... Dinner time again, we went nearby to hunt for food... Always until the last day then we realised tat actually our hotel area there got alot of good food.. haiz... Again, we bought alot of food back to eat... After eating then we back to our rooms to do our luggage packing.. Moodless...

Day 10 (09/08/09)

Woke up early cos we got to get ready before 12pm to check out our rooms... But first we got to bring our UPS box over to Familymart to post back to S'pore.. Then we also cannot decide what to eat, end up we had Burger King... Buy back to hotel room, watched the news again..

After check out our rooms, we went Taipei Main Station again... Nothing much to shop, so went back to the Starbuck cafe at beside our hotel there to sit down... Ard 2pm, then back to hotel to take transport to Airport...

Reached Airport ard almost 3pm, but the counter for checkin not open yet, so we hang ard in the Airport... Ard 3.45pm we checkin our luggage, got our boarding pass then we headed to T1, go buy goodies... After tat back to T2, we went into departure area, we went see branded stuff.. Mi & PY both bought something... hehe...

At boarding area, see tat it is still raining heavily, our flight departed abit later.. As usual in the flight, we eat & eat, watched shows... Ard 10 plus then we touched down in S'pore...

These goes our 10 days in Taipei...
