Hello everyone, we're back!! Started to miss Taiwan again... 11 days there.. haha.. so relax.. eat eat, walk walk, shop shop...
Here are some updates for the 11 days... will update only those i can remember.. haha.. cos 11 days all very enjoyable...
24/12/08:Went back to work half day, but everyone's mood is holidays mood, however still have to quickly clear my work, so tat can go on long leave with peace.. 10.30am plus plus everyone ready for Christmas early lunch cos 12pm all can go home le.. Before tat went up to HR there to have a short gathering with kim, irene & peiyin.. took some photos & exchange gifts.. hehe.. Below are some of the pics taken tat day..
Left office ard 12plus, reach home, quickly take a nap, then ard 3 plus woke up, last min pack my luggage, so heavy de lor... then ard 9plus, jolyn's dad drove us to the airport.. Reached airport T3 ard 10pm, waited for cheryl & peiyin to come.. then mi & peiyin quickly appeared ourselves at the Staff Travel counter.. appeared early so tat at least we gt higher chance to get the seats.. Haiz.. we were told to come back again at 12.20am.. so we acc cheryl & jolyn check-in first.. then ard 12.20am appeared at the counter again, and again being told to come back again at 12.45am... argh... we panic liao.. so hang ard the staff travel counter, then 12.45am went there again.. wow.. finally, all gt seats, we gt our air tickets.. quickly rushed to the boarding area.. last call for SQ880.. meet up with Yokeleng & her family.. boarded the plane and there we go... 4 hrs plus flight.. Had a very full supper onboard..

25/12/08:Sleep awhile in the plane, touched down ard going to 6am at Taoyuan airport.. still very tired.. After passed the immigration check point, we went to check out the exchange rate at the Bank of Taiwan counter... it's 22.13 or 22.16 (can't really remember le..) wah.. gd rate lor.. quickly each of us changed abit... i tink i changed S$300 more...
Then after collected our luggages, we helped Yokeleng to buy the bus tickets to their hotel. Then we also bought our Ubus tickets to Taoyuan High Speed Rail(HSR), tink is NT$30 each (can't remember again..) Abt less than 30 mins journey, we reached Taoyuan HSR station.. Got down the bus already feeling cold, started putting on our jacket.. Headed to collect our reserved train tickets.. so excited.. first time taking their HSR... We are going Taichung for the 1st day... Abt 38mins journey.. Very fast lor, compared to taking bus, it will take 2 hours plus... The inner of the train looks really like an aircraft, comfortable..

Cos we do not know our way to our hotel, hence we walked out of the HSR station and shared a cab to the hotel.. their cab is quite cheap de lor.. only a few dollars each for like 30 mins journey.. Reached hotel was just 9am plus, check-in time is 3pm, cannot check-in yet, but we left our luggages at the hotel's lobby.. Asked the counter staff how to go 家乐福, took some maps with us and headed there.. their shops all not so early open de, so we went to have a drink till 11plus, cos cheryl having headaches, need to get a drink to take medicine.. After tat went to 老虎城 to walk walk & have our lunch... Then walk walk awhile more, headed back to hotel.. Still very early lor.. can only check-in on the dot 3pm de lor.. so 4 of us sit down at the lobby.. haha.. sit sit until all wana fall asleep... lolx.. then tink the counter staff see we damm sian, so bo bian, in case all 4 of us fall asleep at the lobby, allow us to check-in abit early.. wahaha... We booked a room with 2 bedrooms, a living room & toilet.. We rest awhile, then took a cab to 一中街, nothing much also, then took a cab to 逢甲夜市.. bought many food back to hotel to eat as our dinner.. eat & watch tv at the same time... then ard 11plus, all go bath then go slp.. haha... guess i damm tired, i went slp first.. next morning jolyn said i really slp fast lor... she wana asked mi whether wan to turn off the table lamp.. then i already nt answering her question le.. haha... very tired lei.. tat's y can slp fast...

26/12/08:Woke up early cos have to check-out at 12pm. After all get ready, bring our luggages down to the lobby, done with our check-out, left our luggages there and went out to do some last min shopping. Went to buy 太阳饼, it's from 新太阳堂. Didn't buy early cos we nt sure whether it's the famous one which we read from the guide book nt, but anyway, we still bought some from there.. The hotel counter staff helped us arranged 2 cab to Taichung HSR station. Reached HSR station still early, collected our reserved tickets & went to starbuck for a drink. Took 2:06pm HSR to Kaoshiong, abt 1 hour journey. Reached Zuoying HSR station, took our luggages & went to look for the pickup point where our hotel's van is. Same again, 4 of us shared a room.. The room is ok... We took a short rest, then planned to go to Kaoshiong STAGE.. yeah!! Took us quite sometime to find it. So so happy after we found it, took some pics from outside, then went in see see look look, but nv buy anything, cos things nt cheap there.. Then walked to 新崛江there, it's like Taipei's Ximending.. And again, nothing much to buy cos it's nt a season for us to buy clothes all tat, so we just walked ard.. Last headed to 六合夜市.. eating again.. alot of food.. we da bao back to hotel eat... eat & watch tv again... haha.. so nice...

27/12/08:Woke up abit late, was watching tv then gt to know tat Wang Li Hong having an autograph session at Dream Mall.. Haha.. just nice we planned to go there.., so quickly get ready & took the hotel transport to Dream Mall ard 3plus... Reached there saw the crowd at the autograph area nt many pple, so went into Dream Mall to shop shop first... Dream Mall is really huge lor, bigger than our Vivo City (tink got twice as big).. Walked one level already took us dunnoe how long and still cannot finish walking ard.. Went buy Xiaozhu's & Wang Li Hong's albums.. Took the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheels, then ard 6 plus, went out to see how's the crowd for the autograph session.. getting more & more pple.. So we joined the crowd, feeling hungry, then mi & peiyin went buy some food for all 4 of us to eat & drink while waiting.. Tink ard 7 plus, Wang Li Hong finally came... Taiwanese really very crazy for their idol de wor.. horrible.. The autograph started after he sang 1 song... the q is damm long de... less than 30 mins we gt his autograph..
After tat went walked ard Dream Mall, tinking of having dinner there but cannot find anything tat we wan to eat... so decided to take a cab back to hotel, took a short rest & headed to 六合夜市 again.. buy lots of food again and this time we bought too much until cannot finish all... hehe... we too greedy le.. :) After tat bath & pack of luggage.. Cos we going to Taipei next morning...

Went Ximending first, cos one of Xiaozhu's album which cheryl bought didn't come with the 5 postcards, went Rose Music to change, then walked ard there awhile.. Then headed to Danshui, we bought many stuff.. Walked until legs breaking...

29/12/08:Went Jiufen & Keelung... Tat day was raining the whole day.. very cold also... Took a cab to Keelung, cos was raining heavily.. But we were at Keelung for awhile only cos difficult for us to walk ard as we carrying many things & pouring heavily.. We took their railway train back to Taipei... 17 degree after we back in Taipei Main Station...
Rest awhile, then we headed to nearby to have some food first then went Ximending again... Bought food to eat again.. 阿宗面线, our favourite bubble tea, ah ting's favourite fried chicken... yummy!!!

30/12/08:Raining day again... Very very cold day again... We were going ard looking for UPS boxes.. cos we wana send home some stuff we bought as our luggage do not have enough space already... A very tired day.. Finally found the boxes, took some time for all of us to pack our things into the boxes... each of us sent back a 10kg box of items back to s'pore.. haha..
31/12/08:This is the day where all of us are looking forward to.. It's Countdown Day... Yeah!!! Peiyin & ah ting looking forward to see their 五月天, whereas i & cheryl of cos looking forward to see our 小猪罗志祥 lor!!! He only appeared at Taichung countdown, so mi & cheryl no matter wat, bought the HSR ticket & went to Taichung.. then ah ting & peiyin at Taipei... It was still raining went we left from Taipei to Taichung... a very very cold day.. Their countdown is really really different from wat we have in S'pore de lor... Fireworks all tat... only a word to describe- "Wow!!" Right after the countdown party was 小猪's autograph session...finally able to see him in person le.. haha... His autograph starts from 1am on 01/01/09 & heard it ended at 01/01/09, 6am... very very cold.. was 10 or 11 degree tat night.. we q until 4am plus plus... finally get to see him in person.. So shuai de lor... haha.. And he is really good to all his fans.. hehe.. mi & cheryl managed to take photos with him & also he.. gave both of us a big hug too.. so happy sia... going crazy liao.. We really feeling damm cold & tired tat night.. buay tahan.. quickly took a cab to Taichung HSR, took the first train back to Taipei...

01/01/09:Slept until mid afternoon then woke up, cos really really damm tired... ah ting & peiyin woke up first & went nearby to buy late lunch for us.. then in the room eating & watching tv until 6 or 7pm.. Bath then went to bookstore street which is just ard our hotel area... Walked until 9 plus or 10pm, went back to hotel...
02/01/09:Went to Jay Chou's the other restaurant to have our lunch... food not bad.. this time dare nt order any pizza le... haha... After tat walked to Taipei 101, New York New York etc... Cos still early to go to Shilin Night Market, hence, we headed back to hotel to put down stuff tat we bought, at the same time watched 娛樂百分百... Then ard 7pm then headed down to Shilin Night Market.. the moment we reached Jiantan Station.. aiyo, damm lot of pple de lor.. try to walk from the other way into the night market.. Bought alot of food again to eat..

03/01/09:Went to Ximending's 蛋蛋屋 to have our lunch... Just nice Feilunhai having their autograph session there.. cos tinking of go q and get their autograph, so also helped my cousin to get their album... Since we do not have any q number, so we were told to q at one corner, which we are actually quite in front of the q.. tinking won't take very long... but wth.. we waited for almost 2 hours.. mi & peiyin buay tahan, so went to check out wat is the q number they autographed le... idiot... out of 1000 q number, they only autographed 140 pple.. almost 2 hours & only 140 pple.. wth.. and they were playing afool on the stage.. we very angry and decided to dun q anymore... and all of us said, this will be their last album we buying.. no more next time le... Worst than Xiaozhu's autograph session... Xiaozhu's autograph session though need to wait very long, but it is becos he will take photos with his fans, tat's y have to wait long long.. but this feilunhai de, kns, playing afool.. we damm angry left the place & shop at Ximending.. After tat went to this shop selling all kind of almond dessert to try out the dessert.. not bad too.. then we bought some of their almond pastry back.. Went back to hotel to put down our stuff.. Suppose wana go to Dihua Street for their CNY festival market.. but our hotel counter staff said it is not open yet.. So we changed our mind, decided to go to Shida Night Market.. And again as usual, we bought many many food back.. haha.. Watch TV and eat at the same time... After tat, have to pack our luggage le, cos last night there le...

04/01/09:Woke up early, bath, get ready.. Went to the cafe next to our hotel for our free breakfast.. After breakfast, went up to hotel, bring down our luggages and left it at the lobby.. Headed to Ximending... haha... cos again Xiaozhu gt autograph session there.. Cannot q lor cos no time.. so stand there & see... ah ting bought another version of his album, gt free poster wor... haha.. ended up, she so good la.. gave mi tat poster.. thank you ah ting!!! Ard 2 plus, we gt to leave Ximending cos our airport transport is at 2.30pm.. but before tat we rushed to 万年大楼， cos wana go see see the online spree- Bigi Bag's shop.. went in see see look look.. end up each of us bought a few bags.. haha... Paid & quickly left Ximending & back to hotel.. Airport transport already here le.. haha... 4 big luggages and 4 handcarry... the driver again wonder why we can buy so many things back.. haha... Reached airport, quickly check with the counter staff whether how's the flight load.. they said should be ok & asked we two go q.. haha... so lucky, we gt our tickets straight away.. yeah yeah.. then still gt time, so we took their skytrain to their T1 to get some more food stuff.. Left Taipei at 6pm, reached S'pore ard close to 11pm... After 11 days of enjoyable. Finally, Home Sweet Home!!
It is really a very fruitful & enjoyable trip this time round.
